Cleaners were prompt and very nice & polite. They did a good job overall and did everything that I asked for. The cleaners did ask me to do a check right before they left - everything looked good on visual inspection. However, I did notice later that some surfaces were still a little dirty/oily (in kitchen and bathroom surfaces) where I would've appreciated a more thorough clean (especially as I had booked the 'extra hour'). Please note I am not dissatisfied with the service, nor am I asking for any compensation around this - hope this is helpful.

You get the full price online before booking, based on property size and condition, with no in-home quote required. Pricing does not vary by city, so a Melbourne exit clean costs the same as the equivalent job in Sydney or Adelaide. Optional extras appear as separate line items.
Yes. Cornices, ceiling roses, picture rails, deep skirtings and original hearths are included in the exit clean, and they matter here because inner-Melbourne agents inspect them closely on Victorian and Edwardian properties. Tell us at booking if the property has hydronic radiators or open fireplaces so we can allow time for them.
We treat surface mould on tiles, grout, silicone and window reveals as part of the exit clean, and Melbourne's winters make this one of the most common flags we see. What we cannot fix is mould caused by a building fault such as failed sealing or inadequate ventilation, which is a repair issue for the rental provider rather than a cleaning one. We will tell you plainly if that is what we find.
